Universal Prayers Formularies
We provide formularies for the universal prayers, which are premade and easy to print files that your community can use for the universal prayers at Mass.
Our formularies are written to align with the proper prayers of the Mass for each day, so that the universal prayers are connected with the other texts of the Mass.
Each formulary is complete and ready to use, but they can also be adapted for the needs of your local community.

How To Access
Weekly Email Newsletter
Every Monday our email newsletter is sent out with a set of universal prayers for the upcoming Sunday and any major Holy Days or feast days that will be celebrated that week. Sign up to receive emailed formularies using the form on this page or by clicking here.
Resource Library
In the Library section of this website, we post all formularies which have been sent out or that we have composed for other Mass propers or special occasions. At this time the resource library is very sparse, but it will be updated as we publish new formularies.
About Us
Hello, I am Matthew Harrington, a seminarian studying for the Archdiocese of Boston studying at Saint John's Seminary in Boston. I founded and run universalprayers.net to try to assist priests and all those who assemble the universal prayers for their local community's celebration of Mass for Sundays, Holy Days, and Feast Days. Basically, while searching for example universal prayers that were designed for an upcoming Sunday, it became clear to me that these did not exist. Hopefully, this site and newsletter can serve as an assistance for those in ministry.
